ICT Action Plan - September 2012
- Continue to work on areas identified in pre-course audit and September 2012 audit
- Constantly consider ways in which ICT can be used effectively and safely in the classroom
- Improve use and knowledge of effective ICT programs which can be used in the classroom e.g. Stykz and Audacity
- Continue to save quality websites that can be used as supporting materials across the curriculum
- Use social networking such as blogging and Twitter to further integrate safe ICT into the daily lives of pupils, parents and teachers alike
ICT Action Plan - January 2013
- Continue to develop the areas mentioned in January 2013 skills audit
- Continue to look for ways to integrate ICT across the curriculum in order to support learning and progress
- Encourage children to develop their word processing skills across the curriculum and not just in discrete ICT lessons
- During my next placement in KS2 encourage the children to use graph software to translate results from maths and science; this will encourage children to conduct their own mini investigations which can produce a set of results.
- Continue to build upon use of Audacity and Animation software
- Continue to use mind mapping online software in order to present ideas to children in a fun and exciting way
- Continue to use mind mapping online software in order to present the children's own ideas in order to show them how much they have progressed

- Keep up to date with advances in ICT to ensure that I am providing the best learning opportunities
- Continue to use ICT as a tool to support learning
- Always be aware of new and innovative ways to use ICT in the classroom
- Be open to new ideas
- Continue to professionally develop in this field at every given opportunity
- Continue to allow children to actively engage with ICT to get the most out of their learning in order to make progression
